January 2018
We visited the ICT suite recently to draw a picture of a dinosaur as this is our first topic of the spring term. We also used our phonics to label our drawings. Some examples of our work are shown below.
March 2018: Our new topic is 'Planting and Growing'. We drew a picture of a flower or plant using the computer programme 'Paint' and used our phonics to label our pictures or write a sentence. Some examples of our work are shown below.
May 2018
As part of our topic on 'Minibeasts and Life-Cycles', Year F successfully used an internet search engine today to find images of different minibeasts. They independently typed in the name of their minibeast and then used the enter key to begin their search. They learnt how to use the backspace key to delete any mistakes in their typing. Our Computing 'Learning Goal' is to learn how to logon on to the computer independently.

May 2018: Our new topic is 'Life-Cycles'. We have recently read the story 'Tadpole's Promise' as part of our Storytelling lessons. Below are some examples of our computing work where we drew our favourite part of the story and wrote a sentence to explain our drawing.

Our new topic is 'The Seaside'. We drew a 'Seaside' themed picture using the computer programme 'Paint' and used our phonics to write a sentence about our pictures. Some examples of our work are shown below.
