Jeans for Genes

20th September 2019

Wow what a fantastic response from everyone today. As a school we have raised over £120.00 for this amazing charity that is very close to our heart. Jeans for Genes was established in 1994 by the Children's Medical Research Institute to fund revolutionary research that helps diagnose, understand, and find cures or treatments for conditions affecting children, including
genetic diseases, cancer, and epilepsy. 1 in 20 children are born with a genetic disease or birth defect.
A huge thank you to our New Pupil Forum who organised, advertised and co-ordinated the event. What a great start to their new roles in our school-I can't wait for the next event!
