Launceston Fire Station Trip-8th February 2018

On Thursday 8th February Year F visited Launceston Fire Station as part of their 'People who Help Us' topic. They listened carefully to Andy and Mitch, the firefighters, when they answered their questions and explained all about their job and how they help people. They enjoyed looking around the fire engine and learning about the equipment that is on board and why. They enjoyed riding in the fire engine and then having the opportunity to use the hose to spray the fire engine! A big thank you to Andy and Mitch at Launceston Fire Station for allowing Year F to visit and taking the time out of their very busy day to talk to us. The children learned lots, listened well and behaved beautifully. Finally, a big thank you to our parent helpers for coming on the trip with us.
