Learning Powers Day

1st November 2017

On Wednesday 15th November our pupils took part in a 'Learning Powers Day'. The pupils worked together in their house teams to complete a variety of activities linked to our four school learning powers of Reciprocity, Reflective, Resilience and Resourceful.

Key Stage 1's activities consisted of creating a colourful flower based on the story 'Superworm' by Julia Donaldson (Resourceful), following instructions given by others to create a Lego model (Reflective), working as part of a team to complete problem solving activities involving P.E equipment (Reciprocity) and finally completing some dances/yoga based movements (Resilience). The pupils worked brilliantly in their house teams and they all demonstrated our learning powers successfully!
