With such an amazing variety of outdoor facilities, we place huge importance on Outdoor Learning and have big plans to enhance and build on what we already have!
Curriculum time is given to Outdoor Learning, throughout the year and across the school. This may be in the form of a special day of activities, or delivered as part of a morning Maths / Writing session, or provided as 'Wild Tribe', which takes place every week of term time (including the Winter Terms), for Foundation and KS1.
At lunchtimes, children can choose to take part in a number of different activities, which are led by our Year Five and Six Sports Leaders. The activities take place in various locations around the grounds, for example sports including ball games and dance on the tarmac area, den building in the wooded area, chicken keeping and gardening in the garden / animal area.
