Hinduism Workshop with Daya

As part of our learning about different faiths, children in Year 1 and 2 had the amazing opportunity to participate in a Hinduism workshop. We will were visited by the inspirational Daya, who has led many workshops, for numerous schools across Cornwall and Devon, over many years. The workshop allowed the children the chance to enjoy learning about the Hindu culture, followed by dressing up in beautifully coloured, traditional clothing and dancing in the Indian style. They were also able to take part in some traditional cooking, including making and tasting potato curry and chapattis.
