Vision, Values, Lived Experiences and Message from School House Captains

At St Stephens our VISION is a short, precise, agreed statement of intent setting out where the school aims to be. The vision is the ultimate goal for the school community and a vivid picture of what our school is trying to achieve in the future. Our VALUES influence how we conduct ourselves in every interaction we have with others. Our values dictate our behaviours. Values are the means by which our school expresses its vision in daily life and opportunities. LIVED EXPERIENCE is the means to deliver our vision and values to the school community through everyday life. It encompasses the opportunities and knowledge that they gain from these experiences. (The practical tools to deliver the vision and values.)

At St. Stephens Community Academy, we are deeply committed to providing a nurturing, inspiring, and inclusive education where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. We believe in the limitless potential of all our pupils and are dedicated to helping them succeed across every aspect of the curriculum. Every child’s unique talents are celebrated, and we place great emphasis on their social development and life skills, ensuring they are ready for the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead—both within our school and beyond.

As a proud Gold UNICEF Children's Rights School, we wholeheartedly believe that every child has the right to a quality primary education, and it is our mission to support each pupil in reaching the highest level of achievement they are capable of. We work tirelessly to make this a reality.

At St. Stephens, we understand the vital importance of nurturing not only academic growth but also the emotional and social well-being of our students. We prioritize their mental and physical health, recognising that the development of the whole child is essential for their future success and happiness. Together, we support our children as they embark on a journey of growth, discovery, and possibility.
