A visit from Launceston Library

We are very lucky to have a visit every Tuesday from the Launceston Library. This week the children heard the story of 'Arlo the Lion who couldn't sleep'. The children enjoyed sharing a book, paid attention and responded to the pictures and words.
After listening to the story the children were invited to create a lion mask using one-handed tools and equipment, sticking and making snips in paper with scissors. They showed us they could draw with increasing complexity and detail, such as representing a face with a circle and including details.
We think they look 'roarsome'!
