Rainbow Fish Learning

Rainbow Fish Learning

This half term we have been learning through the story of the Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister.

Some of our older pupils have been learning about the habitat of the sea, what creatures live in it and sorting creatures into fish, amphibians, mammals, reptiles. We made our own dioramas to show the habitat under the sea.

We had lots of sensory activities to explore with water, shells, sand, making prints and paint effects. In our artwork we have been printing, sticking, weaving and painting- all of which is good for our fine motor skills.

We have been making biscuits and decorating them to look like the rainbow fish and in our literacy we have been retelling the story of the rainbow fish and building sentences.

On World Music Day we had so much fun making music with some very unusual seaside items!

Lots of fun and lots of learning for all!
