Dissecting Flowers

Dissecting a flower was a fun and interesting way to learn about the different parts of a plant. By carefully taking a flower apart, we were able to see each part up close and learn what it did. The petals were often brightly coloured to attract insects, while the sepals protected the flower before it opened. Inside, we found the stamen, which made pollen, and the carpel, which could grow seeds after pollination. Using tools like tweezers and magnifying glasses helped us explore these tiny parts. Dissecting a flower helped us understand how plants grew, reproduced, and made new seeds.
We have also started to plant our flowerbed and are looking forward to seeing it grow.
