That's Not My...

Being a brilliant bookworm can provide comfort for children, as well as improve their concentration and focus. Being able to read can give children knowledge to understand the world around them as well as build up an amazing range of vocabulary.

Our children are exploring textures and the different words we can use to describe them. We looked through our materials resources box and found a fabulous array of items that felt "Spiky", "Bumpy", "Soft", "Sharp", "Tickly" and "Hard". The children then collaborated on our story book area of interest display, creating a beautiful work of art, show casing all the different textured items.
