Rosemore Visit by Y5

Science in Action!
This Year Five were very excited to go to RHS Rosemoor, near Great Torrington, to experience the fantastic gardens and also have a workshop provided by the incredible team there. The workshop they were involved in was on plant life cycles which links to our science study of living things and their habitats. Year Five primarily look at the life cycles of plants and different animal groups including humans. Rosemoor's education team have some fun and interactive ways of demonstration plant reproduction and also gave the class an opportunity to study different plants in and around their amazing collection.
The children demonstrated our school values of Determination, Planning and Problem Solving, Communication, Relationships and Leadership throughout the trip and they were a credit to their school by showing good manners and positive learning behaviours at all times.
A big thank you to RHS Rosemoor and our very own PTFA who both helped fund the cost of travel to the venue. With their help, our children's educational experience is so wonderfully enriched.
