Theatre and Museum Trip for EYFS and KS1

19th May 2023

Classes F, 1, 2 and 7 took a trip to Plymouth to see the smash-hit stage adaptation of Zog, based on the book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. The children were mesmerised by the bright colourful musical, which really did capture the magic of theatre. They then walked through Plymouth city centre to the 'Box Museum'. 'The Box' is Plymouth's award-winning museum, art gallery and archive. The children explored many different exhibits and galleries, learning new facts along the way. This really was a day full of awe of wonder! As a UNICEF school we respect that all children …"have a right to relax and play and to join in a wide range of activities." This fantastic opportunity organised by the teachers and supported financially by the PTFA certainly fulfils this article .(Article 31 UNICEF).
