Visit to Newquay Zoo

Today we visited Newquay Zoo. We had a brilliant time despite the weather being a little damp. We have been learning about habitats in Science and used this in our English to write animal profiles. We handed these over to Mark, one of the zoo keepers and they have been put in a presentation folder at the zoo!
We loved seeing the animals around the zoo, in particular the red panda and penguins alongside spotting the other animals we had been studying. We had a special session all about penguins when we learnt about the different habitats they live in and there amazing feathers.
A massive thank you goes to the PTFA for funding our coach and the Zoo for being free for schools this year.
