Christmas Tree Festival - St Mary's Church 12th December 2025

This week, our EYFS, Class 7 and KS1 children had the most wonderful adventure! We visited St. Mary Magdalene’s Church in Launceston to see the annual Christmas Tree Festival. As soon as we stepped inside, the children’s eyes grew wide with amazement. The church was filled with twinkling lights, glittering decorations, and trees dressed in every colour you can imagine. Each tree had its own special theme, making the whole place feel like stepping into a Christmas storybook. The children wandered through the rows of trees, pointing out their favourites and whispering “wow” at the magical displays. Some trees were decorated with handmade ornaments, others with shining stars and ribbons. The atmosphere was full of awe and wonder, and you could almost feel the excitement of Christmas in the air.It wasn’t just about the decorations—it was about the feeling. The church seemed to glow with Christmas magic, and the children left with smiles as bright as the lights on the trees. Our visit to the Christmas Tree Festival was truly special.
