PSHE - collaborative learning

We have started our autumn term in Year 4 by thinking about collaborative learning. In our PSHE lessons, we have been learning about working collaboratively – that means the children had to work together and be aware of what their partner was doing and what help they needed in order to successfully complete the task. They then worked in larger groups and by developing their skills of teamwork, they made 'Human Machines'. We had groups that had to 'Peel a banana and turn it into banana cube sweets that are wrapped in paper' as well as 'Make a pizza, from a ball of dough, a bowl of tomato sauce, some grated cheese and one more topping'. It has been brilliant to see the the children develop their skills of teamwork which will support their growth and learning further as they continue through Year 4.
