Developing our Woodland

7th March 2022

A huge thank you to both the Woodland Trust and the Tree Council, who donated beautiful native tree species to our school. Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 have been very busy out in the rain, digging holes and carefully planting the saplings. We are hoping that these will help to create greater biodiversity in the area, which is otherwise largely grass. We also want to create hedgehog highways,  help to absorb CO2 and of course, learn about the life cycle of plants. You are welcome to visit our trees if you happen to be in  the school grounds, but please respect their space as they are young and delicate! Thank you
